CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – There is a new review out of the University of Virginia Faculty of Medicine and the College and Graduate University of Arts & Sciences that could direct to new solutions for swallowing disorders.
The workforce at UVA claims it discovered a unique genetic fingerprint of the nerve cells that purpose the actions of the esophagus. Scientists say they realized this area controlled the place, but they experienced hardly ever been equipped to identify the neurons there. They say now understanding this could lead to new therapies.
