Jacksonville Councilman Reggie Gaffney proposed laws that would reimburse town staff who travel for health-related cure linked to reproductive rights.
“As a man of faith, employing this would not be my own desire. However, as a legislator, I represent all people today and I will struggle for their flexibility and their right to have options, and every single girl justifies this alternative. That is why I’ve submitted this monthly bill,” Gaffney explained.
If passed, the legislation would commence on July 1, 2022 and would include things like up to $4,000 in journey bills per year for any professional medical treatments associated to reproductive legal rights not obtainable inside 100 miles of the employee’s property.
