the top of the page write down the Latitude/Longitude
If
not G.M.T. time given then convert it to G.M.T. time
Using
a Nautical Almanac (using the date) find the declination (under
the G.H.A. Column)
At
the back of the Nautical Almanac find in the increments add
this to the declination (Always add it)
Place
the Longitude below the final Declination (+ if East - if West)
Add/Subtract
to give L.H.A. Aries
In
the pages with "Star of Polaris" in the Nautical Almanac
(find the True Azimuth at the foot of the page)
